Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, the tour begins at the Koricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun. We will continue to the Plaza de Armas and then to the city's surroundings to visit the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, with its monumental stone walls. The circuit ends with visits to the sites of Kenko, Puka Pukará, and Tambomachay, an ancient water worship enclosure.
Departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first stop will be at Awanacancha, an exhibition center for Andean camelids and textiles. Then, we will visit the Pisac artisan market. After lunch at a local restaurant in Urubamba, the journey continues to Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town where we will explore its impressive fortress. At the end, transfer to the hotel in the Sacred Valley.
Transfer to the train station to embark on a journey through Andean landscapes to Aguas Calientes. From there, a bus will ascend to the citadel of Machu Picchu. A guided tour will take you through its passages, squares, and temples. After the visit, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take the train back and, upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
