A four-day, three-night cruise aboard the M/V La Perla through the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, boarding at Nauta, near Iquitos.
From the confluence of the Marañón and Ucayali rivers, where the Amazon river is born, the itinerary combines guided skiff excursions, sightings of pink dolphins and birds, piranha fishing, ceremonies and visits to communities such as San Regis and Kukama Prado, and night excursions through the 'jungle of mirrors'. The return to Iquitos includes a stop at the Amazon Manatee Rescue Centre (ACOBIA) and a short city tour, with its rubber-boom legacy.
