Circuits Hotels Excursions

Buenos Aires is the region's most cosmopolitan capital and the principal southern-cone gateway, combining European-scale architecture with tango, gastronomy and a strong four- and five-star hotel base. It works as the opening city for Argentina and as the connecting hub for Patagonia, Iguazú and Mendoza. Neighbourhoods such as Recoleta, San Telmo, Palermo and La Boca supply a full spread of half- and full-day touring.

Destination guide for the trade

When to go

Spring (September–November) and autumn (March–May) offer the mildest weather and are ideal for touring. Summer (December–February) is hot and humid with many locals away; winter (June–August) is cool but perfectly workable. The city operates year-round.

MICE & groups

Buenos Aires is a leading MICE destination with strong congress infrastructure, including La Rural and Costa Salguero, and a wide base of group-capable four- and five-star hotels. It handles both large conventions and high-end incentive groups.

Incentives

Signature rewards include private tango galas, closed-door dinners with celebrated chefs, polo days and estancia experiences with asado and folklore on the surrounding pampas. Malbec-led tastings translate the Mendoza wine story to the capital.

Access & logistics

Served by Ezeiza International (EZE) with intercontinental links and Aeroparque (AEP) for the domestic and regional network feeding Patagonia and Iguazú. Ezeiza to the city centre runs roughly 45–60 minutes; Aeroparque is minutes from Palermo and Recoleta.

Trade notes

Budget two to three nights, more if using it as a Patagonia hub. It anchors most Argentina itineraries and combines cross-border with Chile and with Iguazú and Mendoza. Broad source-market appeal, especially European and North American.
