Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Your driver transfers you from the airport to the hotel, passing the colonial-style buildings and the world-famous beachfront of Copacabana. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: Sugarloaf and historic centre
After breakfast, group tour to Sugarloaf with an English-speaking guide. A cable car rises to Urca Mountain and on to the summit of Sugarloaf, with views over Copacabana, Red Beach, Guanabara Bay, Niterói and the Botafogo and central districts, with Christ the Redeemer in the distance. After descending by cable car, the tour continues through the historic centre, with its colonial architecture and churches such as the Candelária.
Day 3: Corcovado & Christ the Redeemer
After breakfast, group tour to Corcovado with an English-speaking guide. A cog train climbs through the Tijuca rainforest to the summit at 700 m, where the 38 m statue of Christ the Redeemer stands above a panoramic view over Guanabara Bay, the Maracanã stadium, Sugarloaf, Copacabana, Ipanema and Gávea.
Day 4: Rio de Janeiro – Búzios
Private transfer with driver to Búzios, a small fishing village 177 km from Rio de Janeiro, with more than twenty beaches of crystal-clear water, exotic vegetation, colonial charm, boutiques and restaurants.
Day 5: Free Day in Búzios
Free day to relax and enjoy Búzios.
Day 6: Búzios – Departure
After breakfast, free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
