An eight-day journey through three destinations in Argentina — Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and El Calafate — pairing the capital with two of Patagonia's landmark landscapes.

In Buenos Aires, a guided tour takes in the Obelisco, the Plazas de Mayo, San Martín and Alvear, and the neighbourhoods of La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo and Recoleta. In Ushuaia, the southernmost city, the programme includes Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego and the Tren del Fin del Mundo, with Bahía Lapataia and Lago Acigami. In El Calafate, a full-day excursion reaches the Glaciar Perito Moreno — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — with its walkways and a nautical safari along the Brazo Rico. Transfers in Buenos Aires are on a private basis; in the other destinations they are on a shared basis.

Day1

Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires

Arrival, assistance and reception by our staff at Ezeiza Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day2

Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a guided tour of the city's main sights: the Obelisco, the Plazas de Mayo, San Martín and Alvear, the avenues Corrientes, De Mayo and 9 de Julio, and the neighbourhoods of La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo and Recoleta, as well as Puerto Madero and the Lezama and Tres de Febrero parks. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Ushuaia

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery for the flight to Ushuaia. Arrival, assistance and reception by our staff at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.
Day4

Day 4: Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we head to Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego and take the Tren del Fin del Mundo (admission included). We visit scenic viewpoints, cultural sites and the last postal station of the Americas. We then continue to Ensenada, where we see archaeological remains and take a short walk to appreciate the flora and fauna, including Lago Acigami (Roca) and Bahía Lapataia. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.

Day 5: Ushuaia - El Calafate

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to El Calafate. Arrival, assistance and reception at the airport by our staff and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.

Day 6: Glaciar Perito Moreno

Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day excursion to the Glaciar Perito Moreno (national park admission included), declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982. From Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, walkways set on three levels offer panoramic views of the glacier and its periodic calving. From the Bajo las Sombras pier, a nautical safari along the Brazo Rico sails in front of the glacier's south face to view the floating ice. Accommodation.

Day 7: El Calafate - Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport for the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival, assistance and reception by our staff at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to Ezeiza International Airport for your flight to the city of origin.

Booking & policies

Are the prices shown net or retail?

Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the agency portal.

How is a booking confirmed?

Most bookings are confirmed immediately and the voucher is emailed within minutes. When a service shows “In process”, RUMBO LIBRE is confirming final availability with the receptive operator at destination — usually within 24 to 48 business hours.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.

Can dates or passenger names be changed after confirmation?

Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
