It continues with three nights in Puerto Varas, with the ascent of the Volcán Osorno beside Lake Llanquihue and a tour of Llanquihue and Frutillar, reflecting the German heritage of the south. It closes with three nights in Puerto Natales, the base for a full-day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park, with the Cuernos del Paine, the Salto Grande and Lago Grey with the Glaciar Grey. Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Day 1: Arrival in Santiago

Private transfer from Santiago's Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) to your selected hotel in the city, a journey of about 30–45 minutes covering some 20 km, in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
Day2

Day 2: Santiago panoramic city tour

Panoramic tour of Santiago. Along Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins (the Alameda), the Palacio de La Moneda; the Plaza de Armas with the Cathedral, the Correo Central and the Municipalidad; the climb up Cerro Santa Lucía; the Parque Forestal, the Museo de Bellas Artes and Barrio Lastarria; across the Mapocho River to Barrio Bellavista; and the eastern districts of Providencia, Las Condes and Vitacura, with the Parque Bicentenario. Approx. 08:30–14:00.
Day3

Day 3: Valparaíso and Viña del Mar

Full-day excursion to the coast. Crossing the Curacaví and Casablanca valleys to Valparaíso, with its viewpoints, a traditional funicular and the Cerros Alegre and Concepción (Paseo Yugoslavo and Paseo Atkinson), and a photo stop at La Sebastiana, Pablo Neruda's house-museum (entrance not included). Then Viña del Mar: the Casino, the Reloj de Flores, the Museo Fonck with its Easter Island moái, and the Quinta Vergara. Approx. 08:30–17:00.
Day4

Day 4: Santiago – Puerto Varas

Private transfer from your Santiago hotel to the airport for the domestic flight to Puerto Montt (flight not included). On arrival, private transfer from Puerto Montt airport to your hotel in Puerto Varas, with views of southern Chile's landscapes.
Day5

Day 5: Volcán Osorno

Excursion from Puerto Varas to the Volcán Osorno. Skirting Lake Llanquihue with views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, the route reaches Ensenada and climbs to the Volcán Osorno ski and mountain centre at 1,240 m, with views from the glacial summits to the Pacific Ocean. Return to Puerto Varas. Approx. 09:00–18:00.
Day6

Day 6: Llanquihue and Frutillar

Excursion to Llanquihue and Frutillar, towns shaped by German heritage. In Llanquihue, part of the old Ruta de los Colonos, the Monument to the German Colonists; in Frutillar, the old German-style houses and the lakefront Teatro del Lago, home of the Semanas Musicales de Frutillar. Return to Puerto Varas. Approx. 09:00–18:00.
Day7

Day 7: Puerto Varas – Puerto Natales

Private transfer from your Puerto Varas hotel to Puerto Montt airport for the domestic flight to Punta Arenas (flight not included). From Punta Arenas, a regular bus crosses the Patagonian steppe to Puerto Natales (about 3 hours), followed by a short transfer from the bus terminal to your hotel.

Day 8: Torres del Paine National Park

Full-day excursion from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park (lunch included). Stops at the Cueva del Milodón; Laguna Amarga, the park gateway, with views of the Torres del Paine; the Cuernos del Paine; the Salto Grande waterfall on the Río Paine; and Lago Grey, reached through a coigüe forest and a suspension bridge over the Río Pingo, with floating icebergs from the Glaciar Grey and the Paine Grande massif beyond. Approx. 07:00–18:00.

Day 9: Free day

Free day in Puerto Natales for independent activities or optional excursions.
Day10

Day 10: Departure

At the indicated time, a representative accompanies you on the transfer from your Puerto Natales hotel to the airport for your departure flight, with a last view of the Patagonian landscapes.

Booking & policies

Are the prices shown net or retail?

Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the agency portal.

How is a booking confirmed?

Most bookings are confirmed immediately and the voucher is emailed within minutes. When a service shows “In process”, RUMBO LIBRE is confirming final availability with the receptive operator at destination — usually within 24 to 48 business hours.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.

Can dates or passenger names be changed after confirmation?

Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
