A seven-day, six-night journey across two contrasting Chilean destinations, linked by a domestic flight.

The circuit opens with three nights in Santiago, with a panoramic city tour taking in La Moneda, the Plaza de Armas and Cerro Santa Lucía, and a full day on the coast at Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, crossing the Casablanca wine valley. It continues with three nights on Easter Island (Rapa Nui): the Rano Kau volcano and the Orongo ceremonial centre, then the Rano Raraku quarry — where close to 400 moai remain — with Ahu Tongariki and Ahu Akahanga, and the white sand of Anakena beach. Accommodation is offered in three categories (Turista Superior, Primera Superior and Lujo Superior), each with a hotel in Santiago and one in Hanga Roa, and the excursions run on a semi-private basis.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Day 1: Arrival in Santiago

Private transfer from Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) to the selected hotel in the city of Santiago. The drive takes about 30 to 45 minutes and covers close to 20 km to the city, in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles.
Day2

Day 2: Panoramic city tour of Santiago

After hotel pick-up, a semi-private panoramic tour showing the contrast between the historic centre and the modern eastern districts. It takes in Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins (the Alameda) and the La Moneda presidential palace, the Plaza de Armas with the Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago, and a climb up Cerro Santa Lucía. It continues past the Parque Forestal, the Museo de Bellas Artes and Barrio Lastarria, crosses the Mapocho River to Barrio Bellavista, and reaches Providencia, Las Condes and Vitacura with the Parque Bicentenario, before returning to the hotel. Approx. 08:30/09:00–13:30/14:00.
Day3

Day 3: Valparaíso and Viña del Mar

After hotel pick-up, a semi-private full-day tour to the central coast. Crossing the Curacaví and Casablanca wine valleys to Valparaíso, with views from its natural viewpoints and a photo stop at La Sebastiana, Pablo Neruda's house-museum (entrance not included). The tour rides a traditional funicular and walks the Alegre and Concepción hills, with the Paseo Yugoslavo and Paseo Atkinson; then Viña del Mar, with the Casino, the Reloj de Flores (flower clock) and the Museo Fonck, home to the only moai on the Chilean mainland, and the Quinta Vergara, before returning to Santiago. Approx. 08:30–17:00.
Day4

Day 4: Santiago – Rapa Nui (Easter Island)

After breakfast, private transfer from the Santiago hotel to Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) for the domestic flight to Easter Island. On arrival at Mataveri International Airport (IPC), transfer to the selected hotel in Hanga Roa (about 10 to 15 minutes), the island's main town.
Day5

Day 5: Orongo ceremonial centre and Rano Kau volcano

After hotel pick-up, a semi-private excursion to the Rano Kau volcano, the largest on the island, whose crater walls of over 200 metres shelter a natural greenhouse with its own microclimate. It continues to the Orongo ceremonial centre, one of the island's most striking archaeological sites, linked to the birdman ritual that still inspires the Tapati Rapa Nui festival, with its rock paintings, before returning to the hotel in Hanga Roa. Approx. 09:00–12:00.
Day6

Day 6: Rano Raraku moai quarry and Anakena beach (box lunch included)

After hotel pick-up, an excursion to Ahu Akahanga and Ahu Tongariki, then to the Rano Raraku volcanic crater and the moai quarry, where close to 400 of these figures can be seen. A picnic follows amid the island's nature, then the mythical Anakena beach, said to be where the first settler, the Polynesian chief Hotu Matu'a, came ashore. The route continues past two small caves in a ravine and the nearby Poike and Ovahe beaches, with free time on their white sand, before returning to the hotel in Hanga Roa. Box lunch included.
Day7

Day 7: Departure from Rapa Nui

Transfer from the hotel in Hanga Roa to Mataveri International Airport (IPC) for the departure flight (about 10 to 15 minutes), in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles.

Are the prices shown net or retail?

Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the agency portal.

How is a booking confirmed?

Most bookings are confirmed immediately and the voucher is emailed within minutes. When a service shows “In process”, RUMBO LIBRE is confirming final availability with the receptive operator at destination — usually within 24 to 48 business hours.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.

Can dates or passenger names be changed after confirmation?

Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the receptive operator subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
