Circuits, hotels, excursions and transfers in Máncora.
CircuitsHotelsExcursions
Máncora is a seaside resort on the north coast of Peru, in the Piura region, known for its warm sea during much of the year, its waves for surfing and kitesurfing and a long open beach. The offer extends towards Los Órganos and the neighbouring beaches, with hotels and bungalows facing the sea.
In a programme it is a sun-and-beach extension to close a cultural trip, for example after the archaeological route of the north with Chiclayo and Trujillo, and not a city destination. Its purpose is rest and outdoor life.
Máncora has a warm, sunny climate most of the year, with the southern summer (December to March) as the hottest time and the period of greatest beach demand. In the winter months the atmosphere is cooler and the sea somewhat colder. Between July and October, approximately, whale watching is added.
MICE & groups
Máncora is suited to small or medium-sized incentive groups in a beach-retreat format, not to congresses. The offer consists mainly of beach hotels and bungalows of moderate scale, without convention infrastructure. For formal meetings it is advisable to separate that part into an urban venue such as Lima.
Incentives
Credible experiences include surf or kitesurf lessons, boat trips to watch whales in season, fresh-fish dinners on the beach at sunset and days of rest in a hotel for exclusive use. Walks along the neighbouring beaches complete a relaxed-paced proposal.
Access & logistics
Commercial flights arrive at the nearby airports of Talara, Tumbes and Piura, from where the journey continues along the Northern Pan-American Highway. From Lima the usual access is by air to one of them, because the road route is very long. Air operations should be checked by season.
Trade notes
Plan 3 to 4 nights of beach, as the close of a cultural trip. Combines with Chiclayo, Trujillo and Piura on a north-coast route, and with Lima by air. Suits sun-and-beach markets, couples and active surf travellers; transfers should be confirmed because the distances from the airports are significant.

Booking & policies
Are the prices shown net or retail?
Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the B2B Portal.
What happens after I book?
When you book, we receive your booking and start working on it: it shows as “In process” and we let you know of every update. Vouchers are sent once payments have been received.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those stated in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a service has its own policy.
Can dates or passenger names be changed after booking?
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
