Circuits, hotels, excursions and transfers in Valle de Uco.
CircuitsHotelsExcursions
The Uco Valley is one of the great wine-growing areas of the province of Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes. It brings together the departments of Tupungato, Tunuyán and San Carlos, with high-altitude vineyards, contemporary wineries and an open mountain landscape in which the Tupungato volcano stands out. Vista Flores and Tunuyán are usual points of reference.
In a programme it works as an extension of Mendoza for those seeking high-level wine tourism, quiet lodgings in the midst of the vineyards and a scale very different from that of the city.
The Uco Valley offers good weather for visiting almost all year round, with many hours of sunshine. The harvest, from late summer into autumn, is the liveliest time; spring brings budding vineyards and mild days. Winter is cold and dry, with snow-capped peaks in the background, and some wineries adjust their hours or visits.
MICE & groups
The valley is suited to small incentive groups and high-level executive meetings, with small-scale lodgings in the midst of the vineyards; it is not a venue for congresses or large groups, which are better handled in the city of Mendoza with day visits to the valley. The capacity of each property should be confirmed.
Incentives
Credible incentive experiences include private tastings and dinners inside a winery, lunches among the vineyards, wine blending with the winemaker, horse or cycling rides among the crops and views of the mountain range. The mountain and vine setting offers a framework of highly personal attention for small groups.
Access & logistics
Access is by road from the city of Mendoza, whose airport (MDZ) is the gateway, on a transfer of about an hour or a little more depending on the locality in the valley. Within the valley the distances between wineries and lodgings are considerable, so a vehicle with driver or guide should be planned.
Trade notes
Plan 2 nights as an extension of Mendoza, or 3 if the programme has a strong wine and gastronomy component. Attracts wine-tourism travellers, couples and small incentive groups from long-haul markets and the region. It is advisable to book wineries in advance in the harvest season.

Booking & policies
Are the prices shown net or retail?
Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the B2B Portal.
What happens after I book?
When you book, we receive your booking and start working on it: it shows as “In process” and we let you know of every update. Vouchers are sent once payments have been received.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those stated in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a service has its own policy.
Can dates or passenger names be changed after booking?
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
