A 3-night, 4-day expedition through the northern sector of the Galápagos archipelago aboard the Galápagos Legend. The route combines the Santa Cruz highlands, with their giant tortoises, the seabird colonies of Genovesa at El Barranco and Darwin Bay, and the land iguanas and sea lions of South Plaza and Santa Fe.

The sailing is in a Junior Suite cabin, with a naturalist guide on board, all meals from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the last, and snorkelling equipment.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Day 1: Santa Cruz Highlands

Arrival at Baltra airport and boarding of the Galápagos Legend. In the afternoon, a visit to the central Santa Cruz highlands, where giant tortoises and several finch species are seen.
Day2

Day 2: Genovesa: El Barranco and Darwin Bay

In the morning, El Barranco, with its lava cliffs, red-billed tropicbirds and a small sea-lion colony. In the afternoon, Darwin Bay, with swallow-tailed gulls, nesting red-footed boobies and frigatebirds.
Day3

Day 3: South Plaza and Santa Fe

In the morning, South Plaza, with sea lions, land iguanas and Opuntia cactus. In the afternoon, Santa Fe, with snorkelling in its sheltered bay (sea lions, turtles, reef sharks and rays) and a forest of giant Opuntia cactus.
Day4

Day 4: Las Bachas Beach, Santa Cruz

In the morning, Las Bachas beach on Santa Cruz, with a lagoon of wading birds, marine iguanas and occasionally flamingos; it is a green-turtle nesting site. Afterwards, transfer to the airport for the return flight.

Are the prices shown net or retail?

Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the B2B Portal.

How is a booking confirmed?

When you book, the line sits at “Requested” while RUMBO LIBRE confirms final availability with the local supplier at destination — usually within 24 to 48 business hours. Once confirmed it moves to “Confirmed”, and the voucher is available to download in the portal.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.

Can dates or passenger names be changed after confirmation?

Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the local supplier subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
