A 7-night, 8-day expedition cruise of Galápagos aboard the Origin, Theory and Evolve yachts, with weekly Sunday departures from San Cristóbal. The route combines San Cristóbal, Genovesa, Santa Cruz, Isabela, Fernandina, Rábida and Santiago, with landings, snorkelling, panga rides and paddleboarding per the itinerary.

The sailing is in a Deluxe Stateroom or Premium Suite cabin, with naturalist guides on board, full board and the programme's activities. Some visits vary by yacht.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Day 1: San Cristóbal and Kicker Rock

Arrival at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (SCY) on San Cristóbal and boarding of the yacht. As the yacht sets off, a view of Kicker Rock (León Dormido), with blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies and frigatebirds. Welcome cocktail and dinner on board.
Day2

Day 2: Genovesa: Prince Philip's Steps and Darwin Bay

In the morning, Prince Philip's Steps, with red-footed boobies, Nazca boobies and storm petrels. In the afternoon, Darwin Bay, with swallow-tailed gulls, frigatebirds, deep-water snorkelling and a paddleboarding outing.
Day3

Day 3: Santa Cruz: Las Bachas and Cerro Dragón

In the morning, Las Bachas beach, with flamingo lagoons and shore snorkelling. In the afternoon, Cerro Dragón, with a trail among flamingo lagoons, Opuntia cactus and land iguanas.
Day4

Day 4: Isabela: Punta Vicente Roca and Urbina Bay

In the morning, a panga ride at Punta Vicente Roca or Elizabeth Bay, among cliffs and sea caves, with snorkelling alongside penguins and turtles. In the afternoon, Urbina Bay, with the 1954 geological uplift, land and marine iguanas, flightless cormorants and giant tortoises.
Day5

Day 5: Fernandina: Punta Espinosa and Tagus Cove

In the morning, Punta Espinosa on Fernandina, with the largest marine-iguana colony, sea lions and flightless cormorants, and snorkelling with turtles. In the afternoon, Tagus Cove on Isabela, a historic anchorage, with a hike to a lagoon and viewpoint or a paddleboarding outing.
Day6

Day 6: Rábida and Santiago

In the morning, Rábida, with its red-sand beach, a flamingo lagoon and snorkelling with sea lions and rays. Depending on the yacht, the afternoon is Puerto Egas on Santiago, with fur seals in its grottoes, or a panga ride to Black Turtle Cove.
Day7

Day 7: Santa Cruz Highlands and Charles Darwin Research Station

In the morning, the Santa Cruz highlands, with giant tortoises in the wild, lava tunnels and the Los Gemelos craters. In the afternoon, the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center and the Charles Darwin Research Station, in Puerto Ayora, with the giant-tortoise conservation work.
Day8

Day 8: San Cristóbal: Interpretation Centre

Disembarkation after breakfast and a visit to the Interpretation Centre on San Cristóbal, on the human history of Galápagos, before the transfer to the airport.

Booking & policies

Are the prices shown net or retail?

Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the B2B Portal.

How is a booking confirmed?

When you book, the line sits at “Requested” while RUMBO LIBRE confirms final availability with the local supplier at destination — usually within 24 to 48 business hours. Once confirmed it moves to “Confirmed”, and the voucher is available to download in the portal.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those confirmed in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a supplier applies its own policy.

Can dates or passenger names be changed after confirmation?

Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed with the local supplier subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
