CircuitsHotelsExcursions
Fernando de Noronha is a volcanic archipelago in the Atlantic, off the coast of Brazil's Northeast, belonging to the state of Pernambuco. Only the main island is inhabited, and the group forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage for its natural value; its protected waters are known for diving, dolphins and sea turtles.
In a programme it works as an upscale nature and beach extension after Recife or Natal, with regulated access and a very unhurried pace.
Fernando de Noronha has a tropical climate, with a dry season of roughly August to January, with calmer sea and good visibility for diving, and a rainy season from February to July, with a greener landscape. Sea conditions determine each day which beaches and which dives are scheduled, so flexibility should be left in the itinerary.
MICE & groups
Fernando de Noronha is suitable only for very small, high-level incentive groups, not for congresses: air access and accommodation are limited and the presence of visitors is regulated to protect the park. Its value lies in the protected natural setting, with compact programmes and advance planning.
Incentives
Credible incentive experiences include diving and snorkelling in protected waters, dolphin watching from the Baía dos Golfinhos viewpoint, sunsets on beaches such as Baía do Sancho and guided walks along the trails of the marine national park. They are nature rewards for small groups with active interests.
Access & logistics
Access is by air only, with flights from Recife (REC) and Natal (NAT) of under two hours; there is no other regular connection. Air operations and capacity vary by season, so they should be checked in advance. On the island an environmental preservation fee is payable and internal journeys are short, by road.
Trade notes
Plan 4 nights because of the limited flights and the pace of the island. It is positioned as an extension from Recife or Natal and suits nature, diving and upscale clients, both from Brazil and from European markets that already tour the Northeast. Book well in advance, because the accommodation and flight offer is limited.

Booking & policies
Are the prices shown net or retail?
Rates are net (wholesale) and reserved for travel agencies and tour operators, who sign in to see them and add their own margin. Public visitors see an indicative retail “from” price; the net rate is never shown outside the B2B Portal.
What happens after I book?
When you book, we receive your booking and start working on it: it shows as “In process” and we let you know of every update. Vouchers are sent once payments have been received.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations follow Clause 7 of the Terms: more than 30 days before the service, no penalty and a full refund; 15 to 30 days, 25%; 8 to 14 days, 50%; 3 to 7 days, 75%; less than 72 hours before commencement or a no-show, 100%. Certain destinations — Patagonia, the Amazon region and high-demand dates in peak season — apply stricter terms, stated in the quotation. The schedule above is indicative: the conditions that apply to each booking are those stated in the quotation, and may be stricter in high season, on public holidays or where a service has its own policy.
Can dates or passenger names be changed after booking?
Amendment requests must reach RUMBO LIBRE at least 72 business hours before the service begins. Changes are managed subject to availability, and any resulting rate difference applies. For private services, a name change may require re-issuing the booking at the current rate.
