Punta Norte Reserve and Caleta Valdés in Península Valdés

Puerto Madryn
Excursion

Full-day private service with hotel pick-up in Puerto Madryn and transport in a vehicle with driver to Península Valdés, a protected area that is a World Heritage Site. The route reaches the Punta Norte Reserve, about 170 km away, where a colony of single-haired sea lions is observed and, depending on the season, orcas from the shore; and Caleta Valdés, a breeding sector for southern elephant seals. Viewing is coastal, from authorised viewpoints and trails. The visit runs with guide included and admission to the protected area included. The distance involves several hours of road within the peninsula; the return to Puerto Madryn is coordinated at the close of the tour.
