Circuits, hotels, excursions and transfers in Ushuaia.
CircuitsHotelsExcursions
Ushuaia is Argentina's southernmost city, on the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego, and the principal embarkation port for Antarctica. It combines mountain, forest and sea scenery with the appeal of the end of the world, the Tierra del Fuego National Park and channel cruises. It is a natural finale for southern Patagonia circuits.
The austral summer (November–March) concentrates the Antarctic cruise season and offers long days for cruises and trekking. Winter (June–August) adds skiing and snow landscapes, with activities such as snowmobiles and sledges. Spring and autumn are transitional, with the variable weather typical of the far south.
MICE & groups
Ushuaia hosts small and mid-sized incentive groups rather than large congresses, supported by hotels with meeting rooms and a singular end-of-the-world setting. The Antarctic component and the Beagle Channel provide a differentiating factor for exclusive groups.
Incentives
Signature experiences include Beagle Channel cruises with landings, the Antarctic extension in season, days at Fuegian estancias and the End of the World train. The austral setting gives an exclusivity that is hard to replicate.
Access & logistics
Served by Malvinas Argentinas airport (USH), with connections from Buenos Aires-Aeroparque and Patagonian links. The airport is minutes from the centre. Transfers to the Tierra del Fuego National Park and the port are short, easing the logistics of embarkations and excursions.
Trade notes
Budget two to three nights, more if adding the Antarctic expedition. It combines with El Calafate and Buenos Aires in southern Patagonia circuits. It works as the gateway to Antarctica for expedition markets and as a premium finale to Patagonian itineraries.
