Which destination suits which month, what to propose and why.
Peru has an operational fact before it has a preference: the Inca Trail closes every February for maintenance, in the middle of the wet season, and in that month the product simply does not exist. The second thing that orders any Peruvian itinerary is altitude, because a programme that puts Machu Picchu on day two sells a bad experience; that is why the minimum sellable programme in Peru is longer than in Brazil or Chile.
The congress season in Lima runs April to June and August to November, with October the strongest month for an incentive that adds Machu Picchu. January to March is low, because it rains in the highlands and February takes the Inca Trail off the table.
