NATAL - BRASIL
Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, combines urban beaches, dunes and buggy excursions along the coast. Standard outings include the Genipabu dunes to the north and the southern shoreline beaches, alongside the city's own coastal strip.
For accommodation, Ponta Negra holds the densest hotel cluster, with a seafront promenade, restaurants and mid-range options by the beach, all walkable. Via Costeira, the corridor linking Ponta Negra to the centre, gathers higher-category hotels spread out facing the Parque das Dunas, with a quieter profile.
Operational note: hotels along the southern end of Via Costeira require a 5 to 10 minute transfer to reach restaurants and shops, a factor to weigh when placing pax without their own vehicle.
