This shared service provides the Special Tour of the Itaipu dam, a technical circuit that grants access to internal areas not covered by the standard panoramic visit. The service includes pickup from accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu, transportation, a guide included, and the official ticket for the special circuit. The itinerary begins with an audiovisual presentation at the visitor center. Afterwards, passengers board an Itaipu vehicle to tour the exterior of the dam before entering the facility, visiting the central control room, and observing the turbines in operation from an internal platform. The tour is subject to strict safety regulations.
Operational notes
Minimum age: 14 years. Closed-toe shoes and long trousers are mandatory for safety reasons. Large bags or backpacks are not allowed. The tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Groups of more than 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan. Guide included. Available languages to be coordinated at the time of booking.
