Tigre Delta and Boat Ride
Private half-day tour to Tigre from Buenos Aires, with guide. Combines a road journey and a boat ride through the Paraná Delta.
The way to Tigre skirts the northern area of the city along Avenida del Libertador, passing residential neighbourhoods beside the river. On reaching the town, water becomes the main thoroughfare: the Paraná Delta is a network of channels and islands where houses sit on stilts and are reached only by boat.
The boat ride moves among the channels, with wooden jetties, dense vegetation and the riverside life of the islands on either side. The route is accompanied by a guide, with the pace and timing adjusted to the group thanks to the private vehicle on the road section.
