Gran Aventura — boat ride under the Falls

Adventure activity on a shared service inside Iguazú National Park, Argentine side, with guide. Combines an off-road jungle drive and a boat run that approaches the base of the falls.

The activity takes place inside Iguazú National Park, in two parts. First, an off-road vehicle covers about 5 kilometres of the Yacaratiá trail, deep in the Misiones jungle, while the guide describes the vegetation and wildlife along the way. Then the boat leg begins: the inflatable runs up about 6 kilometres of rapids on the lower Iguazú river and approaches the base of the Salto Tres Mosqueteros, where the water falls almost on top of the boat.

From the river you see the falls on both sides and, in the distance, the Devil's Throat. Contact with the water is direct: clothing gets completely soaked.

Operational notes

The boat activity may be suspended due to river rises or weather conditions. Mobility is required to board and leave the inflatable. The boat leg involves getting completely wet. Guide included. Available languages to be arranged at the time of booking.
