Parque das Aves
Private visit to the Parque das Aves, facing Iguaçu National Park in Foz do Iguaçu, with admission included. Walking route through immersive aviaries with Atlantic Forest birds.
The Parque das Aves occupies a stretch of Atlantic Forest facing the Brazilian-side park entrance. A single trail runs through the forest and passes several aviaries where the birds are not behind glass: the visitor enters the enclosures and walks among them. In the macaw aviary, macaws, toucans and parrots fly close by; another enclosure gathers small forest birds, and an enclosed butterfly house concentrates butterflies from the region.
The route is on foot and at your own pace, with time to stop at each aviary. The park works in conservation and breeding of threatened species, and many of the birds arrive from rescues.
Operational notes
Open-air route; aviaries may have occasional restrictions due to animal handling. Groups over 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan.
