Nautical Adventure — Macuco Safari (Brazilian side)
Nautical adventure in Iguaçu National Park, Brazilian side, with an electric vehicle ride through the forest, a walk to Salto Macuco and a boat ride toward the Falls. Shared service.
The adventure starts with a ride of about 3 kilometres in an open electric vehicle that goes into the Atlantic Forest, where toucans, monkeys and coatis often appear. After a short walk of about 600 metres to the Salto Macuco pier, the central part begins: the boat ride on the Iguazú river.
The boat moves against the current toward the base of the falls until it goes under the curtain of water. This is the moment when passengers get fully wet, with the roar of the fall overhead. The activity is open to all ages and, being operated on the Brazilian side, requires crossing the border with the corresponding immigration procedures. It is advisable to bring a change of clothes and protect cameras and phones.
