Luján de Cuyo Winery Tour with Tasting
Full-day private excursion through the Luján de Cuyo wine area near Mendoza, Argentina, with guide. Visits Primera Zona wineries with guided Malbec tastings.
The route runs through Luján de Cuyo, where the vineyards sit between 900 and 1,100 metres of altitude at the foot of the Cordillera de los Andes. At the department's wineries a guide leads the walk past the rows of vines, the production halls and the barrel rooms, explaining how altitude and soil shape the character of Malbec before each tasting.
The day alternates tastings with mountain views that, on clear days, close the horizon above the trellises. Between one winery and the next the drive follows the area's rural roads, with stops scheduled according to each visit's bookings.
