Mendoza City Tour

Half-day city tour of Mendoza in shared service, with guide. Covers the foundational area, Plaza Independencia, Parque General San Martín and Cerro de la Gloria.

The tour begins in downtown Mendoza, a city rebuilt on a grid after the 1861 earthquake, with tree-lined squares arranged around Plaza Independencia. From there it crosses the avenues towards Parque General San Martín, entered through iron gates that open onto the rose garden and a tree-lined lake.

The final point is Cerro de la Gloria, crowned by the Monument to the Army of the Andes, from where the city spreads eastward while the Cordillera closes the horizon to the west. The guide accompanies the route explaining the city's layout and the history of the crossing of the Andes.
