Bike & Wine — Cycling Among the Vineyards
Bicycle route along the rural roads of Maipú, near Mendoza, Argentina, in shared service with guide. Visits wineries among the vineyards with tastings through the day.
The day unfolds on two wheels along the flat roads of Maipú, between rows of vines and olive trees, with the Cordillera de los Andes outlined to the west. The wineries and producers' houses follow one another a few minutes of pedalling apart, so the route alternates short cycling legs with stops to taste local wines and products such as olive oil or preserves.
The pace is unhurried and the terrain flat, designed for easy pedalling between one stop and the next. A guide accompanies the group along the way and coordinates the visits at each winery.
