Seven Lakes Route and San Martín de los Andes
Private full-day tour along the Seven Lakes Route to San Martín de los Andes from Bariloche, with guide. It covers around 185 km on Route 40 between mountain lakes.
The Seven Lakes Route is one of the best-known stretches of Route 40 and links Villa La Angostura with San Martín de los Andes through the heart of Lanín National Park. The road connects, one after another, the Espejo, Correntoso, Villarino, Falkner, Escondido, Machónico and Lácar lakes, with viewpoints and waterfalls along the way.
The landscape shifts from Andean-Patagonian forest to the open valleys of the north, with the silhouette of the Lanín volcano appearing on the horizon. San Martín de los Andes, on the shore of Lake Lácar, offers free time for lunch facing the water. Travelling privately and accompanied by a guide, the viewpoint stops are chosen according to the group's interest.
