Andean Crossing to Chile — lake crossing

Full-day lake crossing between Bariloche and Puerto Varas (Chile), combining lake navigations and overland legs across the Andes, with guide. Shared service.

The day begins navigating Lake Nahuel Huapi from Puerto Pañuelo aboard a catamaran, with the outline of Cerro Tronador and its glaciers in the background. After disembarking, an overland leg leads to Puerto Frías, where exit procedures from Argentina are completed before crossing the border through the Valdivian rainforest to Peulla, now in Chile.

From Peulla, the final navigation crosses the green waters of Lake Todos los Santos, with the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes set against the water when the weather allows. The route ends at Petrohué and continues overland to Puerto Varas, on Lake Llanquihue. A guide accompanies the coordination of the legs throughout the day.
