Perito Moreno Glacier — Boardwalks
Private full-day excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park, with guide. Walk along the boardwalk circuit and viewpoints facing the glacier front.
The day begins with the transfer west from El Calafate, skirting Lago Argentino along Provincial Route 11 for about an hour and a half, up to the entrance of Los Glaciares National Park. Accompanied by a guide, the route runs along a tiered metal boardwalk circuit that descends in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, with several viewpoints at different heights and around 300 metres from the ice wall.
The glacier front rises some 60 metres above the lake surface, and from the boardwalks you can watch ice blocks break off and fall into the water. The full boardwalk stretch runs between 4 and 5 km, with uphill and downhill sections, covered at your own pace through the morning or afternoon.
