Nautical Safari — Cruise facing the Perito Moreno

Shared cruise of approximately 1 hour facing the south wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier, in Los Glaciares National Park. Boarding at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras.

From Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, the boat moves into the Brazo Rico of Lago Argentino and heads towards the south wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. The cruise lasts about an hour and brings the boat to within around 300 to 400 metres of the ice front.

From the deck you can see the glacier's south wall, with its seracs and crevasses, at an angle that cannot be reached from the boardwalks. When conditions allow, you can see and hear blocks of ice breaking off and falling into the water.

Fixed departures from Puerto Bajo de las Sombras; subject to sailing conditions. Los Glaciares National Park admission not included; paid at the entrance. Transfer from El Calafate not included.
