Tierra del Fuego National Park Excursion

Shared excursion of about 4 to 5 hours to Tierra del Fuego National Park, 12 km from Ushuaia, with a guide. Covers Bahía Lapataia, Lago Acigami and Ensenada Zaratiegui.

Just 12 kilometres from Ushuaia, National Route 3 ends at Bahía Lapataia, inside Tierra del Fuego National Park, where the lenga and ñire forest meets the sea. The route passes Lago Acigami, with still water ringed by mountains, and Ensenada Zaratiegui, facing the Beagle Channel.

At the inlet there is a guided walk of about 20 minutes along the shore, looking out to the channel islands. Throughout the outing, the guide explains the sub-Antarctic flora, the park's wildlife and the story of the far southern end of Route 3, the southernmost point of Argentina's road network.

Operational notes

Park admission is paid at the entrance and is not included. Trails over uneven terrain; suitable footwear recommended. Groups of more than 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan. Guide included. Available languages to be arranged at the time of booking.
