Navigation to Isla de los Lobos and Isla de los Pájaros with hike on Isla Bridges

Shared Beagle Channel navigation to Isla de los Lobos, Isla de los Pájaros and the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, with a guided hike on Isla Bridges. It departs from the port of Ushuaia.

The vessel sets off from the port of Ushuaia and heads out along the Beagle Channel. The first stop is Isla de los Lobos, where colonies of one- and two-hair sea lions rest on the rocks, followed by Isla de los Pájaros, with its imperial and black-necked cormorants. Further on, the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse appears on a water-beaten islet.

The navigation includes a landing on Isla Bridges, where an interpretive trail crosses the peat bog and the shore among Fuegian flora and the remains of former Yámana settlements. The guide accompanies both the hike and the navigation. In summer it is possible to spot humpback whales, dolphins and orcas in the channel.

Operational notes

Navigation subject to the wind and swell conditions of the Beagle Channel; the landing on Isla Bridges may be suspended in bad weather. Bring warm clothing and a windbreaker. Guide included. Available languages to be coordinated at the time of booking.
