Canopy / zip-line in the Fuegian forest
Half-day canopy activity over the Fuegian forest on the outskirts of Ushuaia, with guide. A circuit of zip-lines and hanging bridges with views of the natural surroundings and the Beagle Channel.
The activity takes place on a Fuegian forest site a short distance from Ushuaia. After the harness and helmet are handed over and a safety briefing is given, the group takes on the zip-line circuit that crosses from platform to platform above the tops of lenga and ñire trees.
Between sections, hanging bridges require advancing step by step over the forest, with the Beagle Channel in the background at the more open points. The instructors secure each descent and accompany the group throughout the route. There is a short circuit and a longer one with more zip-lines and bridges.
