Cusco City Tour — Qoricancha and Sacsayhuamán
Private half-day tour of Cusco with guide. Visits Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
The tour begins at the Qoricancha, where Inca stonework and colonial construction sit one above the other in the same wall. From there it climbs to Sacsayhuamán, on the northern slope of the city, where the stone blocks reach several metres and the esplanade looks out over the layout of Cusco at 3,400 metres altitude.
The route continues through Qenqo, with its channels and galleries carved into the rock, and Puca Pucara, a control post above the road towards the valley. It closes at Tambomachay, where the water fountains still run between the terraces. Travelling privately, the pace of each stop follows the group rather than a shared departure.
Operational notes
Cusco sits at around 3,400 m altitude: prior acclimatization is recommended before the tour. Access to the archaeological sites requires the Boleto Turístico, not included. Groups of more than 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan. Guide included. Available languages to be confirmed at the time of booking.
