Pisac — Market and Archaeological Site
Private excursion to the Pisac market and the Pisac archaeological park in the Sacred Valley, with guide. Admission to the archaeological site via Boleto Turístico is included.
The day begins with the hotel pick-up and the drive up to Pisac, in the upper part of the Sacred Valley. The market spreads across the town square: stalls of textiles, ceramics, Andean produce and local crafts, with the most activity on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
From the town the route climbs to the Pisac archaeological park, accompanied by a guide. Agricultural terraces step down the hillside and, in the upper part, the worked-stone walls overlook the Urubamba valley, seen running several hundred metres below. The visit moves at the passenger's pace, with time to pause at each sector of the complex.
Operational notes
Site access via Boleto Turístico. The upper sector involves walking at altitude on uneven terrain. The market is busiest on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Guide included. Available languages to be coordinated at the time of booking. Groups of more than 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan.
