Paracas National Reserve

Private excursion through the Paracas National Reserve, with guide. Covers the coastal desert, La Catedral, Playa Roja and the Lagunillas cove.

The route enters the Paracas National Reserve through the interpretation centre area, where the meeting of desert and sea that defines this landscape is explained. From the viewpoints, the cliff coast drops straight into the Pacific, with no vegetation in between.

The circuit continues toward the La Catedral sector, a rock formation shaped by wind and waves, and then descends to Playa Roja, whose sand takes on a reddish tone from the minerals of the adjacent hill, contrasting with the blue of the sea. The final stop is usually the Lagunillas cove, a small fishing port with seafood restaurants facing the water.

Entry to the reserve is paid separately according to the current Sernanp fee. Access to certain sectors may be restricted due to ground conditions or conservation. Guide included. Available languages to be coordinated at the time of booking. Groups of more than 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan.
