Jungle night walk
Guided night walk along a jungle trail in Tambopata, with guide. Watch wildlife active after dark: frogs, insects, spiders and reptiles.
When night falls over the jungle, the sounds change: insects, frogs and nocturnal birds form a continuous backdrop. The walk moves along the trail with flashlights, stopping wherever the guide spots wildlife.
The beam of light reveals tarantulas emerging from their burrows, frogs resting on leaves, beetles and insects of unexpected shapes, and sometimes the reflection of a caiman's eyes near the water. The pace is slow, meant for a close look at what stays hidden by day.
Operational notes
Closed footwear, repellent and a flashlight are recommended. The activity may be adjusted according to terrain conditions and rain. Guide included. Available languages to be coordinated at the time of booking.
