Osorno Volcano

Private excursion to the Osorno Volcano, with guide, up to the mountain centre at 1,240 metres. Follows the shore of Lake Llanquihue with viewpoints toward the cone and the lakes.

The road follows the shore of Lake Llanquihue from Puerto Varas and climbs the slope of the Osorno Volcano up to the mountain centre, at about 1,240 metres. From there the view opens over Lake Llanquihue, Lago Todos los Santos and, on clear days, the cone of the Calbuco Volcano. The chairlift rises in two sections to higher elevations, optional and paid separately.

The excursion is accompanied by a guide, with time at the mountain centre to stop at the viewpoints and, if desired, take the chairlift independently.

Operational notes

Hotel pick-up in Puerto Montt. Access to the mountain centre may be closed due to snow or wind conditions. Visibility of the lakes and volcanoes depends on weather conditions. The chairlift operates independently and is paid separately. Groups of more than 3 passengers: SUV or Minivan. Guide included. Available languages to be coordinated at the time of booking.
