The schooner sets off and follows the north of the peninsula, where the coast alternates open beaches with rocky islands. The vessel stops at calm-water points for swimming and snorkelling: at João Fernandes the clear bottom reveals reef fish, and in the Praia da Tartaruga area the water turns green over the sandy bottom.

Between stops, the deck offers a view of the coastline from the sea, with its small coves and the outline of the islands. The stops are short, about twenty minutes each, and swimming takes place around the boat.
