The activity takes place at João Fernandes, one of the clearest-water beaches in Búzios, where the rock and reef bottom gathers colourful fish. Snorkelling lets you see the marine life from the surface, floating over the Parque dos Corais.

Those doing the discovery dive first receive a briefing and an adaptation phase in shallow water, then descend a few metres accompanied by the instructor to swim among the corals. No prior experience is required for the discovery dive.
