Recife Antigo - River Catamaran Cruise

Catamaran cruise of about 1h30 along the rivers of central Recife, on a shared service. It follows Recife Antigo beneath its historic bridges.

The catamaran leaves the Cais de Santa Rita and moves between the three islands that form the centre of Recife. From the water, the colonial buildings and the bridges take on another scale, while the on-board guide recounts the role of each in the making of the city.

The route passes beneath the Ponte Maurício de Nassau, skirts the mangroves around the centre and reaches the confluence of the Capibaribe and the Beberibe, behind the Palácio do Campo das Princesas, before returning to the starting point.

Operational notes

Shared service with departures at fixed daily times; boarding is at the Cais de Santa Rita, São José, without hotel pick-up. The cruise may be adjusted according to river and weather conditions.
