Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and Inca Bridge
Private tour of the Machu Picchu citadel with guide, extended to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and the Inca Bridge along the panoramic route. Admission with assigned entry time is included.
The citadel tour is extended with two trails of the panoramic route. Inti Punku, the ancient gateway to the sanctuary, is reached after a climb of about three quarters of an hour, up to around 2,745 metres from where the citadel appears framed by the peaks at the head of the valley.
The Inca Bridge trail follows the eastern edge of the hill to a log bridge suspended over a cut in the rock, an engineering work of the Inca road. Accompanied by a guide, the pace adjusts to the gradient and the stops at the viewpoints along the way.
