BUENOS AIRES - ARGENTINA
Argentina's capital and the main international gateway. It supports half-day and full-day city circuits: Recoleta and its cemetery, the San Telmo quarter, La Boca, the Palermo district and its parks, plus tango dinner shows.
For lodging, Recoleta offers upper-tier hotels in a central location; Puerto Madero holds modern waterfront properties; Palermo is residential, with boutique hotels and a strong dining scene, suitable for stays of several nights.
The city operates year-round. Two to three nights cover a first visit; domestic flight segments should be booked with margin, since many itineraries continue to Iguazú, Mendoza or the south.
