The tour follows the Buenos Aires table through its markets and parrillas. It begins at a neighbourhood market, such as the Mercado de San Telmo, in operation since the late nineteenth century, where the stalls of meat, vegetables and cold cuts that supply the local kitchen are on view.

The route continues with tastings of empanadas and choripán and a stop at a parrilla, where cuts of meat prepared over the fire are sampled. The guide explains the place of each dish in Argentine cuisine and the way it is prepared.
